No Day of Show Parking on Fairgrounds

1.   Reserved parking and Box Truck/Sprinter parking will be $55.00 per night for an approximate 40' x 30' space. Over 40’ long will require two spaces with electrical. Unreserved parking (cash at the gate) will be at $60.00 for a 40’ x 25’ space. we also don’t guarantee power type (ie 50amp, 30amp 20amp). A $10 additional charge, per space, for reservation made after the close of entries.

2.   Dry camping spaces will be available throughout the fairgrounds at $40 per night. No electrical box truck/sprinter parking will be on the grass across from the outside rings. The area is ok for personal generator use. No overnight camping for Box Truck/Sprinter parking.  Unreserved spaces will be assigned at the discretion of the parking chairman. All vehicles will park facing the same direction. Rigs that are longer than the length stated on the reservation form will be parked at the rear of the parking area.

3.   All tag vehicles will be charged $10.00 a day to park. Tag vehicles must fit into assigned space (not in aisle), or be moved at the discretion of the parking crew.

4.   All vehicles must be self-contained. No discharge of gray water or sanitary tanks on the ground or in open containers.

5.   Those wishing to park together must make reservations at WheresMySpace.com and note who and where you want to be set up by.

6.   All parking at your own risk. San Luis Obispo Kennel Club and/or Kern County Kennel Club, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for damage or loss to any vehicles, its contents or dogs.

7.   Fire lanes must be kept opened at all times. Vehicles illegally parked are subject to towing at owners expense with no prior notice.

8.   No generators allowed operating between 10:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M.

9.   Exhibitors are responsible for damage and cleanup of their parking space. Any additional cleanup charged by Fairgrounds will be billed to exhibitor assigned to that space.

10. The gate will open on Wednesday at 3 P.M. and close at 10 P.M. Gate will open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6 A.M. and close at 7 A.M. for those exhibitors that have reserved parking spaces. The Gates will open one hour after the Best in Show judging each day and close at 10 P.M. Prior to the opening of gates for reserved parking, vehicles must park across the street in the P Street parking lot. No vehicles may park overnight in the P Street lot. Sunday night reservations are available and vehicles must be off show grounds by 9am Monday.

11. Parking is a privilege extended by Kern County Kennel Club which can and will be withdrawn from those who do not follow the instructions and rules of the parking crew, or who resort to abusive language and other tactics.

12. No visitors will be allowed to drive their vehicles into the reserved parking areas. They must park across the street and walk in.

13. Unreserved parking will be assigned and paid (cash only) at the gate, if space is available.

14. All RVs must have a working fire extinguisher. No electrical cords to be run across paved roadways.

GROOMING BUILDINGS - Reserved Grooming Area

RESERVED GROOMING BUILDING

Reserved grooming space is available for $75 per space through WheresMySpace.com.

All reserved grooming spaces are approximately 10 x 10 feet.

Reserved grooming spaces will be reserved from Wednesday after 3pm thru Sunday; however, “your” space will be reserved for your arrival on any day of the cluster. Grooming building will close at 10pm.  No Showground access until 3pm Wednesday per the Fairgrounds.

All reserved grooming spaces will be inside the buildings. Electricity will be provided. Please bring extension cords as plugs may a distance from your assigned space.

The Vines & Wines Circuit clubs, club members or service providers assume no responsibility for damage/theft of items or injury to dogs at the show.

No exercise pens inside the buildings. Remember to keep your space clean. The buildings will be checked each night for cleanliness.

The Cluster Committee reserves the right to make all decisions concerning assignment of the reserved grooming spaces.

VIOLATERS TO THE ABOVE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION UP TO AND INCLUDING A BENCH SHOW HEARING.

THE SHOW COMMITTEE WILL MARK DAY CRATING AREAS around the show grounds. The Show Committee reserves the right to consolidate spaces or move exhibitors’ items to accommodate other exhibitors. USE OF DRYERS, ELECTRICAL HOOKUP, SCISSORING, BATHING OF DOGS OR OVERNIGHT SETUP IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE DAY CRATING AREAS OF THE MAIN SHOW BUILDING. AISLES MUST BE KEPT CLEAR. The Show Committee will designate holding areas near the rings for exhibitors to put crates and tables and Dollies while they are showing. Only approved reserved grooming and non-reserved space may be used for grooming.

NON-RESERVED GROOMING AREA: Although reservations are recommended, free crating/grooming areas, without power are available in designated areas throughout the showgrounds. Please bring your own shade if you set up outside.
